The 2009 Heresy Tour

Looks like the poster boy for ex-communication has hit the road, going cross-country on a whirlwind 6-city tour promoting the well-worn tired-out message of sexism in the Catholic Church.

Yep, Roy Bourgeios headlines the JustChurch "Shatter the Stained-Glass Ceiling" speaking gig, sponsored by the wonderful dissenting folks at Call-to-Apostasy and The CRONES (Women's Ordination Conference).

Here's the schedule, from the JustChurch site:

Looks like the Washington event has already taken place. I wonder if it sold out? But don't fret if you missed it, because there are five other opportunities to catch the show - well, three for sure, as the Chicago and Sacramento events seem kinda iffy.

Make sure you contact your bishop, if you happen to live in any of these cities where he is scheduled to appear. Let him know that Rockin' Roy is heading to town. Ask your bishop to issue a statement "welcoming" the recalcitrant rector, and perhaps publish a word or two on the "faithfulness" of Call-to-Action and the CRONES. Maybe, just maybe, he will be forced to cut his tour short due to episcopal intervention.
